Toano, VA, Outsider Artist

A self-taught artist born and raised in Norfolk, VA, John W. Boelte is a retired mechanical service technician.

He has always had an interest in art and decided to pursue his passion for art after retiring.

His artwork covers a wide variety of media but his subject matter is predominately nature.  His use of wood grain in creating fish sculptures and his painting colors capture his interests and those who view his work.
