Estimates (general)

Estimates for services conducted by CFA will all be put in writing through the use of a work order.  

Estimates are not guarantees of cost.  Work order estimates will be as close as possible to the expected cost.  CFA will use the highest expected cost as an estimate with the expectation that work can be completed at or below the estimate.

If costs exceed 10 percent (10%) or $50 (whichever is less) of the original estimate, the work will be done at the original estimated cost.  If work will exceed this threshold, customers will be notified before any additional work is done.  At that time, the customer may be given options to stay within the estimate or authorize the additional work.
